Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of Gŵyl, a festival in translation! 

Today we have talks from Amy O'Donnell on Italo Calvino's If On A Winter's Night A Traveller, and Josh Boyd-Green of Green Ink Booksellers on the bookshop and his favourite three Icelandic books.

Eleanor Cowell, artist-in-residence, created the work attached below based on Amy O'Donnell's talk from Wednesday. "I drew a hand as if it were holding a book because the essence of the book Amy was talking about is looking at the reader and the action of reading something". I've also attached the mind map she drew whilst trying to figure out what Amy was saying.
